Andy Baldwin, Artistic/Executive Director

After high school Andy immediately began working as a professional actor. At the age of 18 he landed his first professional full time gig with one of the largest producing and presenting companies in the southwest, Casa Manana. During 7 years of work with Casa, Andy acquired and filled many positions including: Actor, Director, Instructor, Education Assistant, and Assistant Stage Manager. Outside of Casa Manana Andy furthered his education by studying on Broadway at Circle In the Square Theatre Conservatory. He has performed in over 60 professional productions and has played at most of the professional theatres in the DFW metroplex including WaterTower Theatre, Circle Theatre, Stage West, and Theatre Three. Off the Stage Andy has help budget and produce the nationally recognized Betty Lynn Buckley Awards, develop curriculum for theatre studios across the metroplex, and has become a private coach for high school students auditioning for colleges. Some of his college prep students have been accepted into theater programs at Oklahoma City University, Otterbein College, University of Southern California, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, Syracuse, and NYU.

 

 

 

Jennifer Obeney, Managing Director/Associate Producer

A graduate of Otterbein College received a BA in Music and Business and a minor in Dance. She has performed at various theaters through the DFW area, including WaterTower Theater, Level Ground Arts, Runway Theatre, and Artisan Center Theater. In addition she is also a company member with Contemporary Ballet of Dallas. She has worked as Co-Owner and VP of Sales at a local stone countertop company. She has helped them in rapidly growing from a two man operation to a company that has over 45 installs per month .

 

 

 

Shance Ryan Brentham, Associate Artistic Director/Media Manager

Shance has been very blessed to be a professional performer and artist for the past twelve years.  His job titles have been that of musician, actor, photographer, director, filmmaker, cinematographer, technician, writer, designer and teacher.  As a full time musician, he has played drums, harmonica, sung background vocals and been bandleader for a plethora of acts locally and nationally and contracted by numerous studios and churches.  As an actor Shance has film, commercial and stage experience. The past two years he has performed for Casa Manana.  In addition to performing in main stage and Playhouse productions, he has been an performer in the educational troupe “The Casa Playaz” taking theatre to underprivileged schools.  Shance is owner of Traveling Bandito Films; he is currently directing/ acting in a feature film and directing two international documentaries.
